What is the European ESG Template (EET)?
The European ESG Template (EET) is one of the many templates created by FinDatEx, an industry-driven group of representatives from the European financial services sector. Their mission is to facilitate data exchange and standardize processes to help stakeholders comply with European financial markets legislation.
The EET is an Excel template with over 600 data fields, designed for Asset Managers to share sustainability-related information with key stakeholders such as distributors, funds of funds, and institutional investors. It covers various aspects of sustainability disclosures, including EU Taxonomy alignment, sustainability preferences, screening criteria, and details relevant to Article 8 and Article 9 financial products.
Although the EET is not legally required, its adoption has significantly increased over the past 18 months.

Our platform includes all the latest updates for the EET Version 1.1.3.
