Datia and Stamdata join forces to enhance Nordic financial data integration and coverage

Key takeaways

Two Nordic companies, Datia and Stamdata, are partnering up to provide their clients with more accessibility to data coverage in the Nordics.

From Datia's side, clients can further improve their reporting strategy, taking advantage of this data integration to the platform.

On the Stamdata side, clients of Stamdata will be able to integrate the data seamlessly and streamlining workflows of clients.

How it works in practice:

Through an API connection, Stamdata’s comprehensive ESG data (equities and bonds) is seamlessly integrated into Datia’s platform. What are the next steps?

  • The API matches the instruments in the client portfolios with Stamdata’s data, enhancing portfolio insights with accurate market and ESG metrics.
  • This enriched data is then processed and displayed on Datia’s platform, offering users detailed financial and sustainability metrics for better decision-making.
  • Clients can also generate detailed reports, ensuring a more complete overview of their portfolio performance and sustainability impact.

This entire process is possible thanks to both Stamdata and Datia’s recently launching new public APIs. Datia's API aims to improve the flow of sustainability information into the diverse tech stack already existing in the financial market.

How does this collaboration benefit Nordic market participants?

This partnership is essential for Datia and Stamdata because it creates natural synergies to the benefit of both companies and most importantly their end-clients. For Datia, it strengthens their platform’s data capabilities, allowing them to offer more comprehensive Nordic ESG data coverage, which is increasingly important for investors and compliance.

For Stamdata, being an expert content provider to financial markets, it expands their reach by integrating their ESG data into Datia’s platform, opening up new client opportunities and enhancing their value proposition. Together, both companies can offer a unique and differentiated service to Nordic, but also non-Nordic financial institutions.

"We at Stamdata believe its important that we continue to focus on our core strengths, which is to provide content data services of the highest quality possible. It's our strategy and value proposition to continue to focus on being somewhat of a niche data provider, and to continue to deliver data services that makes a meaningful difference for our end-clients. Through discussions with market players we have come to a clear understanding, streamlined and efficient technology solutions like Datia’s platform and services, which is of great benefit to our end-clients. We have successfully throughout the years integrated and collaborated with many solution providers in the bond and fixed income space, first and foremost to help provide our common end-clients the best possible conditions for them to execute and succeed on their respective business strategy. The partnership with Datia in our view brings many benefits to our future common customers. Among other things, it helps address issues with clients such as coverage gaps, data quality issues, data timeliness, data management issues, streamlining and setting up regulatory reporting and templates, filling out templates, saving time (costs in manhours), and more." - Aleksander Nervik, CEO, Stamdata
"We are excited to announce our partnership with Stamdata to address key challenges in data coverage, particularly among Nordic issuers, as well as in data quality and regulatory reporting. At Datia, we are dedicated to empowering our clients with innovative and reliable data solutions that advance the future of ESG. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in every aspect of our platform—from ensuring high-quality data to continuously implementing cutting-edge features. This collaboration with Stamdata allows us to further enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance for our shared clients. Together, we are focused on creating value and helping our clients achieve their business goals with greater effectiveness. We look forward to a productive and successful partnership with Stamdata." - Juan Manuel Serruya, CEO, Datia
